Over nearly a decade at projekt202, I played a key role in transforming the company from a fast-growing regional UX consultancy into a global leader in experience-driven digital transformation. As Director of UX and later VP of Customer Experience, I helped drive the company’s explosive growth—shaping design strategy, leading product marketing, guiding acquisitions, and partnering with enterprise clients to deliver innovative, customer-centered solutions.

  • Built and led the region’s largest User Experience and Research team, scaling to over 50 designers. Over time, projekt202 served half of the Fortune 10 and numerous Fortune 500 companies (including Amazon, Apple, Mercedes-Benz, and Google…)

    Experience in Selling Human-Centered Design

During my tenure at projekt202, I had the privilege of helping guide the company through a decade of remarkable growth and evolution. As Director of UX from 2013 to 2016, I led a growing design team as projekt202 rapidly scaled its influence in the experience design space.

The company ranked #161 on the 2013 Inc. 500 list with a staggering 2,436% three-year growth rate, and counted clients such as Expedia, PayPal, Microsoft, and the NFL.

That same year, we expanded into new markets like Seattle to better serve our West Coast client base, and we were recognized among the fastest-growing private companies in Dallas.

From 2016 to 2022, as Vice President of Customer Experience, I continued to lead client strategy while also taking on responsibility for product marketing and supporting M&A efforts.

During this period, I helped scale projekt202 from a regional UX consultancy into a global digital innovation partner. We completed key acquisitions—including ORA Interactive in Chicago, Cibo in San Francisco, Big Nerd Ranch in Atlanta, and ADK Group in Boston—growing our geographic footprint and deepening our mobile and web capabilities. Our headcount grew from under 100 to nearly 600 worldwide, with expansion into Asia-Pacific via the acquisition of Roam Digital.

By 2022, projekt202 had delivered digital transformation solutions to nearly 2,000 clients and became the experience consulting arm of Amdocs, enabling us to lead large-scale projects across telecom, healthcare, financial services, and beyond.
